About Elijah Burrell
Elijah Burrell is the author of the poetry collections The Skin of the River (Aldrich Press, 2014) and Troubler (Aldrich Press, 2018). His writing has appeared or is forthcoming in publications such as North American Review, Southwest Review, AGNI, The Rumpus, Sugar House Review, Measure, and many others. Burrell holds an MFA from Bennington's Writing Seminars where he received the Jane Kenyon Scholarship. In 2012 Burrell joined the faculty of Lincoln University in Jefferson City, Missouri. An assistant professor in Lincoln's Humanities and Communication Department, Burrell teaches creative writing and literature.
